Summer 6

Race 6 of the Summer Series 2025 started at 1030 on Sunday, the 10th of August. The two fleets left Middle Island under blue skies but not a great deal of wind. As they passed Round Island, however, things began to improve and they were soon approaching Chesterman Buoy.

In 5-6 knots of southeasterly breeze, the five IRC entries then headed for a Tai Tam mark while the eight PHS boats sailed on to Castle Rock. First home was ABC entry, Redeye, followed a minute later by Daydream.

Ming Kee Seafood Restaurant on Po Toi Island provided lunch for the hungry finishers, while race officer, Barry Truhol, presented the day prizes to Redeye (1st in IRC 1), Wicked (1st in IRC 2), Daydream (1st in PHS 1) and Sea Eagle (1st in PHS 2).
